Yishun session

The boys and I went on a mission to infiltrate our long skateboarding abandoned hometown of Yishun. It was really refreshing to be able to visit some of the old skate spots that we all used to skate together on a daily dose back when we were younger. Some of the old spots moved on while new ones were born upon discovery. The whole vibe from the estate bring us back to our teenage angst phase. We spent the day exchanging old memories; cop chasing/looting/girl issues and of course, our love for skateboarding.
To many of us, Yishun is where the heart of skateboarding resides.

The Secret Garden

Our first objective, The Clocktower, visit was completed. Next was this amazing park in between HDB flats. The place looked like well maintained ruins from the Greek era installed with "C" shaped grindable curbs and a mean set of stairs. Hence, it's named Rome. The ground was pretty vicious on the deck due to the sandy imprints. But hey, we got the sun, shade, boards and greenery to absorb in.

Its not all perfect and easy as it may seem. Hafizul Hisyam did the moster treflip on a couple of tries.
He collected all his guts and balls just to get this down for you guys out there. As soldiers in the battlefield, injuries and wounds are normal. Show some appreciation for this guy.
